The Dreumelse Waard is a floodplain of the river Waal with the big lake Vonkerplas in the middle. A walk around the Vonkerplas is approximately 5 km. In winter it is a stopping place for waterfowl and you have a chance to see birds such as Porrón Osculado, Porrón Europeo, Silbón Europeo, Zorzal Real, Ánsar común en Pico Picapinos.

Nederlands: Een prachtige wandelroute door de uiterwaarden van de Dreumelse Waard met grasland, ruigtes en water. De Waal zorgt door de variërende waterhoogtes voor dynamiek in het gebied. Een wandeling om de Volkerplas is circa 5 km. In de winter is het een pleisterplaats voor watervogels en heb je kans op onder meer Porrón Osculado, Porrón Europeo, Silbón Europeo, Zorzal Real, Ánsar común en Pico Picapinos.
