Descripción
The small scale fields around the river Massa and the river itself are a magnet for migrating birds but also hold many breeding birds. A good place to see (or hear) Chagra del Senegal, Colirrojo Diademado, Ruiseñor Común, Tarabilla común, Cistícola Buitrón, Tórtola Europea, Abejaruco Europeo and Codorniz Común in the fields. Along the river you can see Martín Pescador Común, Lavandera Boyera, Garceta Común, Tarro Canelo, Cerceta Pardilla, Zampullín Común, Avión Paludícola and if you are lucky the bird for which this whole area of Souss Massa National Park is protected: the Ibis Eremita.
