Descripción
Vingis Park is an old park wedged between the city of Vilnius and the Neris river. There are many walking paths, both paved and unpaved, leading through mixed forest and along the river. It can be a bit noisy right next to the E272 motorway in the east, but as you walk further west you can barely hear the cars. In the forest, you will hear a lot of bird songs in spring, especially from Zarcero Icterino, Mosquitero Silbador en Papamoscas Cerrojillo. On and along the river you can see Porrón Osculado, Carricero Políglota en Gaviota del Caspio. The Agateador Euroasiático and Papamoscas Papirrojo also breed here. Via the bridge in the north you can cross the river to the Karoliniškių nature reserve.
