The Valle Vecchia is a great place for both breeding and migratory birds, as it has such a large range of habitats within the area. In the reedbeds there is a large range of species such as Avetorillo común, Garza Imperial and Rascón Europeo. The lake also has a large variety of rare birds like Cigüeñuela común, Garcilla Cangrejera and Morito Común. The road towards the Valle Vecchia is a great place for Tórtola Europea, Abejaruco Europeo and Cuco Común.

To get to Valle Vecchia you have to go through Brussa and continue towards the canal Cavanella in a straight line. You will then cross the canal and continue straight ahead, until you reach two lakes ( these two lakes can also be good for birdlife ) where you will then turn right. After turning right keep on going straight until the car park.
