Descripción
The Stagni di Marceddì and Corru S'Ittiri form part of a Natura 2000 protected area. These lagoons are a mosaic of brackish and freshwater habitats, shaped by natural inlets, sandbars, and artificial dikes. The shallow lagoons attract waders, gulls, and ducks. Birds you can observe include Cigüeñuela común, Cerceta Común, Tarro Blanco, Chorlito Gris, Chorlitejo Grande, Zarapito Real, Andarríos Chico, Archibebe Común, Andarríos Bastardo, Archibebe Claro, Vuelvepiedras Común, Combatiente, Correlimos Menudo, Bisbita Campestre, Tarabilla común, Garceta Común, and Gaviota Picofina.
