Descripción
Part of the area belongs to a public park, while the rest is private (and not well kept). Still, it is possible to walk all around the lake (around 45 minutes + birding stops). There is a roost of Garcilla Bueyera, a feral small population of Barnacla canadiense grande and recently some Cormorán Pigmeo. In the last years, wintering birds have included Siskin, Escribano Palustre, Acentor Común and Pájaro-moscón Europeo. Other nice birds are Avetorillo común, Martín Pescador Común and Oropéndola Europea. During spring migration several passerine birds stop for a few days, including Curruca Zarcerilla, Papamoscas Gris and Papamoscas Cerrojillo. Rarities are possible (Collared flycatcher in 2018).
On sunny weekends a lot of people visit the area, so expect disturbance.
