Oasi Naturalistica Valle del Brusà is divided into 2 sections. One part is open ("Le Vallette") and the Valle Brusà proper is partially visitable only on certain days and times. The Brusà Valley is surrounded by a network of canals and there is a body of water with an observation hide and ringing station, surrounded by typical marsh vegetation and on which overlooks a rich heron colony with trees and shrubs of various heights. In this way several species typical of different environments coexist. In the heron colony you can find birds like Avetorillo común, Garcilla Bueyera, Garza Imperial, Martinete Común, Ibis Sagrado, Morito Común and Cormorán Pigmeo. In other parts of the, wetland birds like Carricero Común, Cetia Ruiseñor, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Martín Pescador Común, Rascón Europeo and several species of ducks. On the cultivated fields surrounding the oasis and the tree-lined areas you can find Ruiseñor Común, Oropéndola Europea and woodpeckers. The heron colony can be easily observed up close by walking along the paths.

Diviso in 2 sezioni, una aperta ("Le Vallette") e la Valle Brusà propriamente detta, visitabile parzialmente solo in certi giorni e orari. La Valle Brusà è circondata da una rete di canali (scoli) e vi è presente uno specchio d'acqua (lo sguazzo), con capanno d'osservazione e stazione di inanellamento, circondato dalla tipica vegetazione palustre (Phragmites communis) e su cui si affaccia una ricca garzaia con alberi e arbusti di varie altezzeIn questo modo coesistono più specie tipiche di ambienti diversi: le garzaie (Avetorillo común, Garcilla Bueyera, Garza Imperial, Martinete Común e altri Ardeidae, Ibis Sagrado, Morito Común, Cormorán Pigmeo), le zone umide in generale (Carricero Común, Cetia Ruiseñor e altri piccoli Passeriformes, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Martín Pescador Común, Anatidae, Scolopacidae, Rascón Europeo e altri Rallidae) i campi coltivati che circondano l'oasi e le aree alberate ( Ruiseñor Común, Oropéndola Europea, Picidae). La garzaia è comodamente osservabile da vicino camminando sui sentieri del percorso di visita.

Oasi Naturalistica Valle del Brusà can be reached by car. Parking at the entrance to the oasis in via Porte 1, Cerea. Click on the P in the map for directions. Alternatively, you can get to the same point on foot or by bicycle from via Tombola. In that case, it is best to park in front of the schools in via Gandhi.
