Descripción
Zaribar, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Iran, covers an area of 5 to 8 km². It is one of the main tourist attractions of Marivan and serves as a vital habitat for several breeding bird species, such as the Somormujo Lavanco and Gallineta Común. It is also considered one of the best places in Iran to observe the Buscarla Unicolor. As hunting is prohibited in the area, birds tend to come closer, offering better opportunities for photography.
