As a mudflat, especially after low tide, Velayat Park offers a chance to walk along the shore and observe a variety of waders, including sandpipers, plovers, godwits, gulls, terns, and egrets. Great Knot, Crab-Plover, Tibetan Sand Plover, and Great Stone-Curlew are just a few of the interesting species you can expect to see among many others. You can also enjoy watching passerines in the park area, including Asian Green Bee-eater, Sand Lark, and Variable Wheatear.

Velayat Park is located on Southeast of Bandar Abbas city and has an easy access by car. Although the park is a good habitat for passerines, the beach and mudflat is the exciting part for birdwatchers. So be prepared to wet your feet by walking along the beach to find a numerous number of birds.
