Descripción
Kecseri Puszta Nature Reserve covers 1,226 hectares between Kisújszállás and Karcag. It consists of a lake system surrounded by saline grasslands, with an extremely rich bird life, with marshes on its western side. The flora and fauna remaining of the former steppe can be found in mosaics on the diverse terrain. Among the birds you can encounter in the area are Barnacla cuelliroja, Morito Común, Garcilla Bueyera, Avefría Europea, Ánsar chico, Cerceta Carretona, Porrón Pardo, Ánade rabudo norteño, Tarro Blanco, Codorniz Común, Perdiz Pardilla, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Carricero Tordal, Grulla Común, Combatiente, Águila Imperial Oriental and Pigargo Europeo.
