Descripción
On the western side of Meladia valley, a small chapel (Αγία Αικατερίνη) is located. This chapel is surrounded by several large conifers, and can be a great hotspot for migrants during spring migration. Park your car next to the road and scan the conifers carefully before entering the area closer. The conifers can be packed with flycatchers, redstarts, warblers and so much more.
The surrounding fields are a great spot for flocks of pipits, wagtails and larks, like Terrera Común, Bisbita Campestre and Lavandera Boyera. The scattered bushes are great for Escribano Cabecinegro.
The hills on the northside of the area are good for species, like Escribano Ceniciento and Collalba Rubia. Don't forget to scan the several farms in the area for Mochuelo Europeo.
