Descripción
The path is a long and increasingly mountainous walk up the valley towards Ipsario. It starts in NW of the village Potamia, follows the hiking trail through old desciduous forest, Platans, Oaks, Chestnut and Walnuttrees.
Further up the trail leaves the road and the forest changes in to pinetrees. In this area we saw Roquero Rojo, Roquero Solitario, Avión Roquero, Escribano Montesino and Collalba Rubia.
Further up the climb becomes increasingly steep, and the nature becomes more bare. Here Cernícalo Primilla was seen.
The trail continues the whole way up to Mt Ipsario where Treparriscos can be seen.
Its recomended to start walking before dawn, its also important to carry a lot of water (there is a well some distance up the trail). The trail becomes sometimes very thin and steep, good shoes are compulsory!
