Descripción
More than 100 bird species have been seen in Levadi marsh . On one side this semi-flooded marsh area is bordered by the sea. A road to a quarry runs on one side along from the sea and on the other side the marsh is overlooked by a hillside. The small wetland attracts wading birds such as Garceta Común, Garceta Grande, Garcilla Cangrejera and Cerceta Común. Also Martín Pescador Común can be seen. The surrounding reeded pools, scrubland and fir trees also attract tits, finches, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental and Curruca Cabecinegra. It’s also common to see Abejaruco Europeo and buzzards and eagles in this area.
