Rhodes is a very dry island, smaller birds breed early before vegetation dies back. At Lindos you can find the usual mediterranean versions of swifts, swallows, warblers and Collalba Rubia. Birds of prey include Cernícalo vulgar, Cernícalo Primilla (especially at the acropolis), Autillo Europeo and Busardo Moro. Other birds you can encounter are Garcilla Cangrejera, Alcaraván Común, Alcaudón Común, Golondrina Dáurica and Correlimos Menudo.

Lindos is located on the south-east coast on Rhodes, 40 km south of Rhodes town. You can take a bus or coach from Rhodes town to Lindos.
