Descripción
South of the main road, next to the saltpans, a large field consisting of lower vegetation and seasonal pools is located. This area cannot be easily accessed, but are still worth a check with your binoculars or telescope. The seasonal pools can hold large numbers of waders, egrets, herons and waterfowl. Groups of pipits, wagtails and larks, like Bisbita Gorgirrojo and Terrera Común, can be seen here too, feeding in the surrounding grassy vegetation. Also, the electricity wires along the road and in the field are great for Abejaruco Europeo, Abubilla común, shrikes and swallows. During migration, flocks of Cernícalo Patirrojo can be seen here too. Raptors can be seen hunting above these fields too, like Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental.
Further down the road, near the seaside, you can walk along the beach and check the bushes for Alzacola rojizo. The fields next to the beach are great for flocks of pipits, wagtails and larks, like Bisbita Campestre and Terrera Común. The area is also used as breeding ground for Alcaraván Común.
