The ruins of the ancient Greek city of Epidauros are renowned for its Sanctuary of Asclepius, a healing center dedicated to the god of medicine, and its ancient theater, which is still celebrated for its exceptional acoustics. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
But around the site also plenty of birds can be observed, especially in the early hours of the day. Birds that are regularly spotted in the area include Culebrera Europea, Gavilán Común, Cernícalo vulgar, Autillo Europeo, Mochuelo Europeo, Abubilla común, Alcaudón Común, Cuervo Grande, Carbonero Lúgubre, Escribano Soteño, Curruca Cabecinegra and Cogujada Común.
