Descripción
Cape Sounion is the promontory at the southernmost tip of the Attic peninsula, 70 km southeast of Athens. Cape Sounion is noted for its Temple of Poseidon, one of the major monuments of Greece. The cape is a rocky crag with a nearby beach. Birds include Perdiz Griega, Carraca Europea, Gaviota de Audouin, Gaviota Patiamarilla, Pardela cenicienta, Culebrera Europea, flycatchers, warblers, wheatears, Serín Verdecillo, Oropéndola Europea and Busardo Moro.
