Descripción
The landscape of Wildes Moor has extensive moor and grassland areas. In the course of the last 35 years, around 200 hectares of the original moorland have been renatured. From a viewing hill you have a wide view over the almost tree-free area. The wild moor is one of the raised bogs. Birds find a varied home in the Wildes Moor. Among the 54 breeding birds are numerous species typical of bog, such as Ánsar común, Cerceta Común, Grulla Común, Rascón Europeo, Agachadiza común, Archibebe Común, Tarabilla Norteña, Tarabilla común and Ruiseñor Pechiazul. During migration Cisne Cantor, Ánsar careto and Barnacla Cariblanca as well as Grulla Común and numerous waders appear.
