Descripción

Vorland Eiderstedt is located in Böhl, an area that is a little quieter than the other parts of Sankt-Peter-Ording. The beach in Böhl lies behind wide salt marshes and has a large and wide sandbank. Many different birds can be observed in the salt marshes and on the beach. Please note that most of the salt marsh is a protected area of the national park and may not be entered without permission!

In the area you can observe Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, , Collalba Gris, Archibebe Común, Zarapito Real, Ostrero Euroasiático and Alondra Común. In summer, Chorlitejo Grande and other typical beach birds can be observed on the beach.

Please pay attention to the signs here too and keep a sufficient distance, as rare birds such as the Charrancito Común attempt to breed here.
