The meadows, ponds, marshes and reed beds of the Thürer Wiesen are home to many different rare breeding birds. Tórtola Europea, Ruiseñor Común, Perdiz Pardilla, Cigüeña Blanca, Tarabilla común, Mochuelo Europeo, Buscarla Unicolor, Gorrión Molinero, Carricero Común, Cuco Común and Milano Negro all breed in the area.

Accesso
The Thürer Wiesen nature reserve is located southeast of the town of Thür. On the north side of the area is a small car park. Click on the P in the map for directions. It is possible to take a circular walk (about 5 km), although parts of it lead out of the actual area.
