Thülsfelder Talsperre is particularly interesting because of its waterfowl. The Cisne Chico and Cisne Cantor are especially noteworthy, as they can be found in larger numbers during the winter. Thülsfelder Talsperre is located between the towns of Cloppenburg and Friesoythe. Parking is available mainly on the east side of the reservoir, in the north in the large parking lot of the Hotel Seeblick or in a hiking parking lot in the far south.
