The Steenodder Kliff is an important resting and breeding site as part of the national park "Schleswig-Holsteinisches Wattenmeer". Depending on the season, good observation possibilities of Éider común , Ostrero Euroasiático , Archibebe Común , Vuelvepiedras Común , Tarro Blanco , Barnacla Carinegra , Barnacla Cariblanca and Silbón Europeo (only in winter). Geese and ducks also often graze in the adjacent wetland meadows.
