Descripción
The Stahlberg and Hölleberg area is dominated by well-preserved calcareous grasslands in different stages of succession and interesting for breeding birds of semi-open habitat, including Cuco Común, Codorniz Común, Ruiseñor Común, Alondra Común, Pito Real, Buscarla Pintoja, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Bisbita Arbóreo, Alondra Totovía and Torcecuello Euroasiático. Visitors are Milano Negro and Milano Real, Cigüeña Negra, Cuervo Grande and Alcotán Europeo. The area is also a well-known hotspot among botanists (orchids) and entomologists (e.g. butterflies).

Accesso
The site is accessible by car, there is a parking possibility at the airfield Hölleberg. From there, several hiking routes lead along the plateau which offers a scenic view over the Diemel valley. The length of the route you see on the map is about 7 km.
