Descripción
Salzwiesen Bülk is an area of rewetted meadows. In the open area, hundreds of geese such as Ánsar común, Barnacla canadiense grande and ducks such as Ánade friso, Cuchara Común and Silbón Europeo can be seen, especially during migration. There are also a variety of waders, such as Agachadiza común and Chorlito Dorado Europeo.
The road and footpath lead directly past the area and offer good observation opportunities. At the end of the road is the Bülk lighthouse. Other waders can be seen on the beach, for example the Vuelvepiedras Común and Correlimos Oscuro. Rare, exceptional sightings are also possible, such as the Lavandera de Chukotka, which is very rare in Germany.
