Descripción
The pond of Rixdorfer Teich is popular with typical urban birds like Mito Común, Petirrojo Europeo and Arrendajo Euroasiático, as well as waterfowl like Cisne Vulgar, Pato Mandarín and Gallineta Común.
Some of the usual Carbonero Común are very used to humans and will even take seeds from the hand. There is a family of Busardo ratonero that live in the park, and one or two are usually hanging around in the trees near the pond. In summer many Golondrina Común circle over the pond, and in autumn and winter there are always lots of Jilguero Europeo in the alders next to the pond.
