Descripción
The Pätzer Plan is a large open space that is used for agriculture. The area is a mix of meadows and arable land. In the back there is also a small wetland. In winter, these areas are used as winter quarters for migratory birds such as Grulla Común, Ánsar común and Avefría Europea. In summer there is a good chance of seeing Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Agachadiza común or Abubilla común. Other birds you can encounter in the area are Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Cernícalo vulgar, Busardo ratonero, Busardo Calzado, Alcaudón Norteño and Milano Real.

The place is easy to reach by car. Parking at the Haus des Waldes, click on the P in the map for directions. It is also possible to reach the area by bicycle (from the train station “Bestensee”) and there is also a bus that stops in front of the Pätzer Plan.
