Nature reserve Welter Bach has damp pastures and wet meadows that are an ideal breeding and resting area for many meadow birds such as Avefría Europea, Agachadiza común, Zarapito Real and Barnacla Cariblanca. The Martín Pescador Común patrols the stream at the Welter Bach. Many waders can be found here during autumn and spring migration.
