Descripción

The Meiner Stapelteiche area consists of several small ponds with extensive reed beds and shoreline areas, as well as open water and a small wooded area. This structure offers good conditions for a variety of bird species.

Waterfowl such as Cisne Vulgar, Ánade azulón, Cerceta Común, Cuchara Común, Ánsar común, Tarro Blanco and other water birds can be well observed. Also waders like Aguja Colinegra, Archibebe Claro and Andarríos Grande use the area as a rest area. The large reedbeds are suitable for species such as Escribano Palustre and Ruiseñor Pechiazul. During migration, the area is attractive to migratory birds. Birds of prey such as Busardo ratonero or Milano Real frequently circle over the surrounding fields and meadows.
