Descripción
The Krakower Obersee nature reserve is an old nature reserve in Mecklenburg. It is the southern part of the Krakower See and includes the islands in the lake and the adjacent Dobbiner Niedermoor. Pigargo Europeo can be seen very well in the area. Many water birds can be observed all year round: Cormorán Grande , Ánsar común, Ánade azulón , Ánade friso , Porrón Moñudo , Porrón Europeo , Cuchara Común , Garza Real , Garceta Grande , Gaviota Reidora , Gaviota argéntea europea. In the winter months it serves the Nordic geese and swans as resting and sleeping waters. Especially during the autumn migration in November and December, up to 15,000 Ánsar Campestre and Ánsar careto come in at dusk with a great spectacle.
