The area of a former french military airport Flugplatz Bremgarten consists of meadows and small forests and holds some of the scarcer breeding birds of the region, notably Oropéndola Europea, Escribano Triguero, Zarcero Políglota and Tórtola Europea. In spring and autumn the area is good for migrating and resting raptors (e.g. harriers, sometimes Cernícalo Patirrojo) and passerines (e.g. Collalba Gris, Tarabilla Norteña).
