Descripción
The Drover Heide is a former military training area and today a nature reserve. About 120 ha of the total area is accounted for by the actual heathland, 290 ha on forest areas, 150 ha are fenced and grazed by cattle and goats, so that the heath is kept short. To date, more than 130 bird species have been observed in the area. Among the birds you can see are Bisbita Pratense, Tarabilla común, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Alondra Totovía and Chotacabras Europeo.

Accesso
Access from the village of Drove or Stockheim by foot or by bike. If you arrive by car, leave the car on the parking at the K28. See the P on the map. (https://goo.gl/maps/PWPt6zQMpxKUtgzL9). The walking route shown on the map is about 12 km.
