Descripción
The 'Regenpfeiferacker' ('Chorlito Carambolo Field') is a plateau located between Hochdorf an der Enz, Hemmingen, and Schwieberdingen. The area resembles Arctic tundra and is (so far) devoid of vertical features, making it an attractive resting place for many migratory bird species. Every year, during migration, especially in autumn, various species and many rarities can be observed here. Regularly observed rarities include, Búho Campestre, Bisbita Gorgirrojo, Cernícalo Patirrojo and Chorlito Carambolo.

Unfortunately, the area's function as a resting place is threatened by the construction of several wind turbines. A broad alliance of nature conservation organizations opposes these plans. Any support for these efforts is welcome!
