Descripción
The Bordelumer Heide with its many habitats ranging from spruce forests and little ponds to heathland, provides a home to different bird species. In the forest you can find birds such as Papamoscas Gris, Herrerillo Capuchino and Agateador Euroasiático. The ponds and the surrounding reed are habitats for Carricero Común, Ánsar común and Martín Pescador Común. Where the area is more open you can hear Bisbita Arbóreo sing in spring. Cuco Común, Escribano Cerillo, Pardillo Alpino and Tarabilla común are also breeding in the heath areas. A Halcón Peregrino breeds near by in the radiotower. Sometimes Pigargo Europeo are flying over the area to hunt at the coastline.

Accesso
The nearest trainstation is located in Langenhorn. From there it is possible to walk but it is more convenient to take a bike. There are parkingplaces along the mainroad from where you can access the area by foot. Click on a P in the map for directions. The circular route on the map is about 5 km.
