Bird enthusiasts can expect to encounter a plethora of passerines such as Verderón Común, Picogordo Común, Camachuelo Común and various shrikes including Alcaudón Dorsirrojo and Alcaudón Común. The area is renowned for its raptors, with sightings of Culebrera Europea, Águila calzada, Águila Esteparia and Águila Imperial Oriental being common. Additionally, the nearby Dali Reservoir, surrounded by Tugai forests and sandy canyons, offers excellent opportunities to spot waterfowl like Cormorán Pigmeo and Pato Colorado, as well as the noisy Francolín Ventrinegro and various interesting warblers and wheatears. Chachuna Managed Reserve is located in the east of Georgia, near the border with Azerbaijan, within the floodplains of the Iori River. About 100 km east of Tblisi. The area is best to enter from the town of Dedoplistskaro.
