In a traditional countryside of pastures filled with flowers and woodland, around 900 m high, a wide variety of passerines can be seen relatively easily. Alcaudón Dorsirrojo , Alondra Totovía , Tarabilla común are everywhere, Colirrojo Real and Pardillo Común are around the villages, and Collalba Gris on stone walls. Some Tarabilla Norteña can still be found in marshy grassland, and raptors are frequent ( Milano Real , Aguilucho Cenizo , Culebrera Europea)
But the main species here are Alcaudón Norteño which tend to be rare nowadays, and Gorrión Chillón who are nesting in few numbers.
