Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the Archibebe Común, the Cigüeñuela común, the Cetia Ruiseñor, the Cistícola Buitrón, the Cernícalo vulgar or the Tarro Blanco. During migration, the Falaropo Picogrueso or the Colirrojo Tizón are passing through. In winter, Barnacla Carinegra, Chorlito Dorado Europeo and Avefría Europea are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
