Descripción
The Crau is one of the last mediterranean stone steppes and therefore holds many rare species. Sadly it is under high pressure of land-use and agriculture. Car testing areas and an airport have covered parts of the steppe in recent times. Nevertheless steppe breeding birds like the Sisón Común, Ganga Ibérica and Calandria Común still survive and can be seen in La Crau. In Winter you can also see flocks of Chorlito Dorado Europeo and Avefría Europea or even Bisbita de Richard.

There is a nice car parking area - see the P on the map. The best tracks are drawn on the map, but there might be even more tracks.
