This large pond is home to nice nesting species as Pato Colorado, Porrón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Ánade friso, Carricerín Común, Garza Imperial. In the surrounding bocage, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Alondra Totovía,Aguilucho Cenizo are also nesting.
In winter, the pond can be hosting Cerceta Común, Porrón Europeo, Porrón Moñudo, Silbón Europeo and several vagrants. The place is also really great in times of migration with lots of passerines in the hedgerows and waterfowl on the pond.
