Descripción

Combe Lavaux is a nature reserve, that is mainly covered by forest. With impressive limestone cliffs, that are home to Halcón Peregrino and in winter occasionally Treparriscos. There are also a few semi-open spaces such as dry scrubland with common box or calcerous grasslands, that are interesting from a botanical standpoint. Abejero Europeo, Culebrera Europea, Pito Cano, Mosquitero Papialbo and Cuervo Grande have been suspected to breed in the area. They are all rare breeding birds in the departement, which makes the area special. With some luck you might also spot a chamois on the cliffs and slopes. Please strictly stay on the trail, since the area is sensitive and home to rare plants.
