Descripción
Paljassaare Special Conservation Area is a waders paradise. There is wooden broadwalk and at the end of "waders paradise" is bench. The shallow seabed attracts waders. Sometimes they are as close as 25 m. The area is very exposed so it can be quite windy. Among the birds you can encounter are Chorlitejo Grande, Ostrero Euroasiático, Chorlito Gris, Serreta Mediana, Andarríos Chico, Andarríos Bastardo, Correlimos Común, Correlimos Zarapitín, Correlimos Falcinelo, Cisne Cantor, Cerceta Carretona, Porrón Moñudo, Porrón Osculado, Cuchara Común, Lavandera Boyera, Camachuelo Carminoso, Charrán Común and Charrán ártico.

The area has a big parking lot. Click on the P in the map to get directions. Near the parking lot are many information signs which show you where to go. Actually you can start birding near the Katariina pier. The route indicated on the map is about 2 km long (one way)
