Descripción
Tissø is the 4th largest freshwater lake in Denmark. It is easy to acces and overlook. Tissø is home to a rich and varied birdlife and Pigargo Europeo breeds here and it is easy to see. Also Águila Pescadora can be seen. On the lake itself Somormujo Lavanco, Serreta Grande, various dabbling and diving ducks, geese and Focha Común are usual residents. The beach meadows and reed beds house many foraging and breeding birds like Avoceta Común, Charrancito Común, Escribano Palustre, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental in addition to Avetoro Común, Bigotudo and Buscarla Pintoja.

Almost all of the lakeside is on private hands, but there is a publicly accessible birdwatching tower near Fugledegård. Click on the P in the map to get directions to the parking. From there it's a 500 meter walk to the observation tower.
