Descripción
The moraine landscape of Svanninge Bakker og Bjerge has emerged under the pressure of a glacier from the northeast during the last ice age. Giant ice blocks have left large depressions, making it one of the most distinctive landscapes in Denmark. The area provides very special conditions for flora and fauna, and this is reflected in rich and varied animal and plant life. Among the birds you can encounter are Somormujo Cuellirrojo, Zampullín Común, Grulla Común, Alcaudón Dorsirrojo, Alcaudón Norteño, Aguilucho pálido, Milano Real, Curruca Capirotada, Cuco Común, Papamoscas Gris, Papamoscas Cerrojillo and Colirrojo Real.

There are several trails of varying length in the area and it is difficult to choose from. With a little luck there should be a free folder with a map at the informationboard. It's written in Danish, English and German. The suggested circular walking route on the map is about 10 km long.
