Descripción
Kofoeds Enge is located on the southern tip of Amager, close to Kongelund Fortress. The area is part of the Amager Wildlife Sanctuary. The salt meadows attract many migratory birds and also breeding birds. You are not allowed to go out at the water's edge during the breeding season (1 April to 15 July), but you have a beautiful view over Kofoeds Enge from the Kongelund Fortress, where there is free access during the day. You can walk along the fence that marks the border between the salt meadow and the fields. On the salt meadows and on the water you can see birds such as Correlimos Común, Agachadiza común, Archibebe Común, Ostrero Euroasiático, Avefría Europea, Tarro Blanco, Éider común, Porrón Osculado, Somormujo Cuellirrojo, Alondra Común and Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental.
