Descripción
The lake of Hindemade Sø has several small islands for ground nesting birds and the area is a gorgeous spot for waders and meadow birds. Chorlitejo Chico, Martín Pescador Común and Avoceta Común are seen and birds of prey regularly sweep the area. For example Pigargo Europeo that nest further east near Haderslev Fjord are often seen over Hindemade. Milano Real is also often seen at Hindemade.

Parking lot at the end of Hindemadevej. Click on the P in the map for directions. Round trip around the lake is about 4 km, but there are plenty of trails in the forest as well. So if you are up for more, have a look around.
