Descripción
Velký Rybník is a lake and nature reserve located on the upper reaches of the Lužnička stream. The lake and the reed beds are used by many birds during migration. Birds that visit or breed in the area include Zampullín Común, Cuco Común, Rascón Europeo, Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental, Carricero Tordal, Alondra Común, Jilguero Europeo, Jilguero Lúgano, Picogordo Común and Escribano Cerillo.
Note that lake is used for sport fishing. It is fished from the dam and the banks near it.

The Velký Rybník Nature Reserve is located 1.5 km northeast of the village of Rybniště in the southwestern part of the Šluknov Uplands. Press P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
