Mia Milia Sewage Works is a man-made set of sewage treatment pools and surrounding agricultural land on the outskirts of Nicosia. The site attracts breeding waders and has regularly attracted small but significant numbers of the globally threatened Malvasía Cabeciblanca in winter. Other birds you can encounter are Cuchara Común, Cerceta Común, Porrón Pardo, Francolín Ventrinegro, Flamenco Común, Zampullín Común, Cigüeñuela común, Avefría Espinosa, Andarríos Chico, Andarríos Grande, Archibebe Común and Andarríos Bastardo.
