Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Ánade azulón. Some other duck species can be seen like Ánade friso, Ánade rabudo norteño and Cerceta Común. In the trees there are common birds like Carbonero Común, Herrerillo Común and Pico Picapinos. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Curruca Capirotada, Pinzón Vulgar and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Mirlo-acuático Europeo and Serreta Grande who nest nearby. Also other species like Cigüeña Blanca, Garza Real and Busardo ratonero.
