Vyncke Bovyn is a small city park that is nice for a short walk and birdwatching. At the pond you can see Ánade friso, Martín Pescador Común and Ánade azulón among others. But you can also see various other bird species in the park forest and on the lawns.

Nederlands: Vyncke Bovyn is een klein stadpark in Mariakerke ten noorden van Gent. Leuk als je een korte wandeling wil maken en vogels kijken. Bij de vijver kun je onder meer Ánade friso, Martín Pescador Común en Ánade azulón zien. Maar ook in de bossen en op de grasvelden kan je diverse vogelsoorten zien.

Vyncke Bovyn is located 4 km north of the city center of Ghent. You can enter the park at Villa Ooievaar (restaurant) by car and bicycle. There is also a small narrow bridge where you can enter the park on foot. Click on the P on the map for directions to a parking spot.
