At the entrance of the Vijvers van Bellefroid (Ponds of Bellefroid) a path takes you to the two lakes. The path doesn't circle the waters entirely, but you should get a good look on both of them from walking the path. At the second lake there is a bird watching screen. A lot of ducks and herons frequent the water while songbirds like Mito Común and Petirrojo Europeo can be found in the trees surrounding the water. Also the Martín Pescador Común and Cormorán Grande reside in the area.
