In Schulensbroek 230 species have been observed in the last 10 years, including Aguilucho Lagunero Occidental , Garceta Común and Águila Pescadora. On the grass and hay lands, meadow birds breed, such as Aguja Colinegra , Zarapito Real and Ostrero Euroasiático. Cerceta Carretona , Tarabilla común , Ruiseñor Pechiazul and Carricero Común can also be found here.

Trails are pointed out with different indications for each distance depending between 2km and 10 km. The route you see on the map is 10 km. From the viewing platform of the Schulensmeer visitor centre (Demerstraat 60, Lummen) you can get an excellent view of the birds.
